Written to describe how this platform actually operates — the real verification requirement, the real refund practice, the real safety stance — rather than copied from a template. This agreement, together with the Privacy Policy and the Refund & Cancellation Policy, is the user agreement for TrueSaath Matrimony and TrueSaath Dating. Using either app means you accept it.
You must be 18 or older and able to enter into a legally binding agreement to use TrueSaath Matrimony or TrueSaath Dating. One account per person, per app — TrueSaath Matrimony and TrueSaath Dating are separate accounts and you may hold one of each, but not multiples of either. Impersonating someone else or creating an account on their behalf without consent is not allowed.
You are responsible for what happens under your login. Profile information should be accurate — misrepresenting your marital status, age or identity undermines the exact thing verification exists to protect. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that fail verification checks or are reported and confirmed to be fraudulent.
The verified badge means a government ID matched a live selfie, and, where a member added them, that a work email or professional credential checked out. It is an identity check, not a background check: it does not confirm anyone's character, marital history, financial position, criminal record or intentions. Treat verification as one strong signal, do your own diligence the way any family would, and use the built-in safety tools before and when you meet.
You are solely responsible for your interactions with other members, online and offline. TrueSaath is a platform that introduces people; it is not a party to any conversation, meeting, relationship or marriage that follows, and it does not make decisions for you. Never send money to anyone you meet here — no genuine match asks for it — and report anyone who does.
Paid plans are billed for the term you choose and renew only if you opt in — there is no silent auto-renewal. Renewing early always adds to whatever time is left rather than resetting it. Refunds are handled as set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is part of these terms — write to care@truesaath.com and a person will look at it.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We can suspend or terminate an account for a genuine safety or fraud reason; where that happens for a paid member, any unused prepaid period is refunded on request.
We verify identity documents, run automated scam-language detection, and build safety tooling into every screen — but we cannot guarantee the conduct of another member, on or off the platform, and we are not liable for it. The service is provided as it is, without a warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and no plan promises a match, a meeting or a marriage.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law, and nothing here limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
If your conduct on the platform — a fake profile, harassment, a scam, content you had no right to post — causes a claim against us, you agree to bear that claim and its reasonable costs, not us.
As required by the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, the grievance officer for both apps is the operator of TrueSaath, reachable at care@truesaath.com. Complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days. This is the same inbox as every other request on this site — read by the person who can actually act on it.
TrueSaath welcomes members worldwide and is operated from India, so these terms are governed by the laws of India — that is about which law interprets this agreement, not about who may use the platform. Nothing in this section takes away consumer rights that the law of your own country grants you and does not allow to be waived.
When these terms change in a way that matters, the "updated" date above changes and the change is listed on the What's new page. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.
