Delete Your TrueSaath Account
You can delete your TrueSaath account yourself at any time, from the website or the Android app. It takes a minute and it is permanent.
Delete it yourself
TrueSaath Matrimony. Sign in, open Settings, scroll to Your data and tap Delete my account. Confirm, and you are signed out once it is done.
TrueSaath Dating. Sign in to TrueSaath Dating, open Settings, tap Delete my account, then Delete permanently.
TrueSaath Matrimony and TrueSaath Dating are separate accounts. Deleting one does not delete the other; if you have both, delete each from its own settings.
Cannot sign in?
Email care@truesaath.com from the email address on the account, with the subject "Delete my account", and say whether it is Matrimony, Dating or both. We confirm it is your account, delete it, and reply when it is done.
What is deleted
- Your account, sign-in details and profile
- Your photos and any verification documents
- Your messages, matches, likes, shortlists and profile views
- Your notifications, blocks, check-ins, trusted contacts and the reports you filed
Nothing is archived first, so a deleted account cannot be restored.
What is kept, and for how long
Payment records. If you ever paid for a plan, the record of the payment (amount, plan, date and the payment provider's reference) is kept for tax and chargeback purposes, with your name, email and every other personal detail removed, so it can no longer be linked to you.
Backups. Encrypted backups taken before you deleted the account still contain it until they are erased on their normal 14-day cycle. After that it is gone from everywhere.
Just need a break?
If you want to stop being shown for a while rather than lose everything, hide or pause your profile in settings instead. Your matches and messages stay, and nobody new sees you until you come back.

Questions people ask
Can a deleted account be restored?
No. Nothing is archived when you delete your account, so there is no copy to restore from. If you might come back, hiding or pausing your profile keeps everything without showing you to anyone.
Does deleting TrueSaath Matrimony delete TrueSaath Dating too?
No. They are separate accounts, even with the same email address. Delete each one from its own settings.
Will people I chatted with still see my messages?
No. Your messages, matches and likes are deleted with your account, so they disappear from the other person’s side as well.
Do I have to cancel a paid plan first?
Deleting the account ends the plan with it. Plans do not renew on their own, so nothing is charged afterwards.
Can I get a copy of my data before deleting?
Yes. In Matrimony settings, under Your data, download your data first. It includes your account details, profile and messages.
