Fixing the date?
The muhurat calendar lists every auspicious wedding date month by month, with the hours each one holds.

What is the order of rituals in a Hindu wedding?
Broadly: roka and sagai to fix the match, then sangeet, mehendi and haldi in the days before, then baraat, jaimala, kanyadaan, the pheras, sindoor and mangalsutra on the day, and vidaai and the welcome at the new home after. Families and regions add, drop and reorder steps.
Which ritual actually completes the marriage?
In the Hindu Marriage Act, where saptapadi is part of the custom, the marriage is complete when the couple takes the seventh step. Customs that use a different ceremony are recognised too.
Do all communities follow the same rituals?
No. Punjabi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Gujarati, Malayali and Rajasthani weddings each have their own sequence and names; the tradition pages walk through each one.
Compatibility figures are the classical Guna Milan as computed by TrueSaath's free calculator and are offered as a reference, not as advice. Community and place pages describe how TrueSaath works; any member count shown is live and rounded, never a claim.
