Bhakoot counts how many signs apart the two moon signs sit. Certain positions — 6 and 8 apart, and in many traditions 2 and 12 or 5 and 9 as well — score zero, which is bhakoot dosha; every other position scores the full seven. It is read as love, family growth and financial harmony over the years.
