Gana
The six-point koota comparing temperament: Deva, Manushya or Rakshasa nakshatras.
Every nakshatra belongs to one of three ganas — Deva (nine stars), Manushya (nine) and Rakshasa (nine). The names mean divine, human and demonic, but the koota is about temperament: calm and gentle, balanced and practical, or intense and forceful. Same gana scores six; Deva with Manushya scores a partial; Deva with Rakshasa scores zero.
A zero here is called gana dosha. It is not a character judgement of anyone; it is a statement that two temperaments are far apart on this scale.
