Nadi
The eight-point koota, heaviest of all, traditionally tied to health and progeny.
Nadi assigns each of the 27 nakshatras to one of three nadis — Adi, Madhya and Antya — and awards eight points when the two partners fall in different nadis and zero when they share one. It is the single largest koota and the one families ask about first.
