Navamsa
The ninth divisional chart, traditionally the one read for marriage.
The navamsa (D-9) divides each sign into nine parts and builds a second chart from them — one navamsa per nakshatra pada. Astrologers read it for the marriage and the spouse, and a planet's strength in the navamsa is taken to confirm or undercut its position in the main chart.
